About

NoMa Social, a new, sophisticated and chic restaurant featuring a Mediterranean menu. New Rochelle Mayor Noam Bramson joined the owners and executive chef at the Radisson Hotel New Rochelle in a ribbon-cutting ceremony that was followed by a VIP Grand Opening reception.

Colby Brock, NoMa Social’s Food and Beverage Director and Interior Designer/Project Manager who oversaw the restaurant’s redesign and renovations, said: “We have put together a winning combination--a new Mediterranean menu created by Executive Chef Bill Rosenberg and a very warm, comfortable and attractive space that will make NoMa Social a unique destination in lower Westchester and the Sound Shore area.” She added: “Just as Rao’s is an unexpected find in Harlem, we know that NoMa Social will be a great find in a Radisson hotel.”

Chef Rosenberg, formerly executive chef of F.I.S.H. Restaurant and Two Moons, both in Port Chester, noted: “Sharing food and conversation are the ultimate dining experience. NoMa Social makes that possible with a menu that offers several options for sharing food. This, combined with a cozy and comfortable atmosphere, adds up to a truly fun and enjoyable experience that diners will want to repeat and share with others.”

In explaining the vision for NoMa Social, Ms. Brock said: “Our rebranding is reflected in the name we chose. Like SoHo or TriBeCa in New York City, we know that this restaurant will be a destination, so we chose NoMa which means North of Manhattan. Social describes a place where people can have a comfortable, interactive dining and drinking experience.”

She added: “We wanted to make NoMa Social a second home for our guests. To that end, we created a ‘library décor’ that is eclectic, with warm purple and gray colors, yet chic at the same time. We have introduced lots of comfortable couches and low cocktail tables that accommodate a variety of group sizes, as well as more traditional seating.”
