Our objective at North of the Wall is to provide an online marketplace for original, quality artworks at affordable prices. Each and every unique work of art shown on the site has been personally selected by us from a wide variety of sources. Many have been bought privately or at auction, whilst others have been created by working affiliated artists. Some are old, some are new, some are traditional, some not, but all of our works of art combine the key attributes of quality and value for money.

If you are interested in buying art works, please browse our website and, if you see something you like, then simply add the artwork to your shopping basket and go to the checkout where you will be guided through the ordering and payment process.

If you have works of art that you wish to sell, either as a working artist or as an art owner, then you can do so on this site. This method of selling your art is very cost effective compared with selling to the trade or using auction sites.

Each year we sponsor and organise the ‘North of the Wall Prize’ with prize money of £6,000. The purpose of the prize is to stimulate the creative arts and promote the inclusion of disabled artists. More details of this can be seen on the website
