Purpose-Built for the Urban Core
While other electric delivery solutions have targeted medium- and long-haul logistics, Oberon has focused on the most emissions-intensive and congested segment of the supply chain: the last mile in dense urban environments.
The Oberon CUE (Cargo Utility Electric) platform is centered on five interconnected innovations:
• Ultra-Compact Electric Micro-truck: A four-wheel EV engineered for city use, featuring a swappable modular cargo box.
• Hot-Swap Battery System: Enables instant battery changes via distributed battery swap stations, dramatically improving uptime and eliminating the need for grid-tied charging delays.
• Mobile Cargo Hubs: Intermodal, trailer-style structures that eliminate the need for brick-and-mortar depots, enabling pre-packed modular cargo boxes to be deployed overnight in high-demand zones.
• Bio-composite Vehicle Construction: Vehicles and boxes are built using bio-composite materials made from agricultural waste—reducing embodied carbon, improving recyclability, and supporting circular economy goals.
• Highly Automated Micro-factories: Compact, low-cost production facilities that can be deployed in under 180 days, enabling re-shored EV manufacturing in the U.S. while avoiding tariffs and reducing emissions from long-distance shipping.
