About

Ostellus is a software platform, which provides a framework for browsing, visualizing, and teaching in the context of human history. Our motivation is to provide a technology, which enables everyone to browse through history in an intuitive and systematic manner, and  therefore help with cultural, political, and social economic education in our society. We have developed a data model for combining geospatial, temporal, audio-visual, numerical, and textual representations of historical information.
