Pages From The Heart

Pages from The Heart Gift Books, are handcrafted in Canada, we are located in the Niagara area of Ontario.
The gift books are made from real books that have been rescued from the recycling bin. Some of the gift books are antiqued to appear from a time gone by, all the gift books are hand painted, lacquered and decorated, with 3D decoupage and embellishments. A poem or verse accompanies the graphics. The books are coated with a softening agent, then hand molded, they are then subjected to twelve separate processes which give the books a new lease of life in the form of this unique eco -friendly gift.

Pages From The Heart  are an adaptation of the altered book craft,......an old fashioned way of expressing sentiments, often felt, but too often kept within....a gift of  poetry and images on the pages of an old book.
The gift books have been stiffened and lacquered or antiqued. In most, a ribbon bookmark adds the finishing touch to the gift book, to give the appearance of an old family book left open at a much loved page. Each gift book comes with a stand and is packed individually.

Pages from the Heart can be personalized or dedicated to that special someone your wife or husband, best friend or mother for that extra personal touch. OR you may have your own photographs, and/or poetry, incorporated into a custom created gift book. All our gift books are created by hand by talented artisans. Pages from the heart can commemorate those once in a lifetime moments such as weddings or a baby’s birth or any everyday holiday such as Christmas, Valentines Day or Mothers day. Or perhaps even more preferable, they can be given for no real reason at all except to be a constant reminder to that loved one ,of just how special they are to you.
