Parentis Foundation is a nonprofit dedicated to improving youth literacy through intergenerational mentorship. Our Empowering Readers OC (EROC) program connects students with trained older adult volunteers, fostering academic success, confidence, and a love for reading. By strengthening literacy skills, we help break the cycle of poverty and support long-term educational success. Volunteers benefit from a renewed sense of purpose, social connection, and lifelong learning. Together, we create a brighter future where generations unite to build stronger communities through the power of reading.
