The American Patriot Program started in June of 2009 and is a program designed to celebrate the service and honor the sacrifices of combat wounded American Veterans and Fallen military service members of the United States Armed Forces.  

The American Patriot Award is an authentic full size laser engraved wooden baseball bat with full script and emblems or an authentic full sized laser engraved goalie stick- also with a full script and emblems.

TAPP's acting National Director is Wes Hazlett.  Wes Hazlett is also a volunteer affiliate for Operation Helmet, a program that helps provide helmet upgrade kits to American troops serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.  He is also the project engineer for USMC Veteran Scot of Remember The Wounded Ride's official communication center.

Hazlett is the grandson of combat wounded WWII Veteran William Klossner and also is a volunteer national disaster relief worker for the American Red Cross.
