Paula Slater has been a full time professional sculptor for the past 22 years and is internationally recognized for the many public art monuments and prestigious bronze portraits she has sculpted. She has been commissioned to sculpt numerous portraits of Congressmen, Senators and leaders of industry. Her life size and monumental sculptural work is highly detailed and beautifully finished. Slater's bronze sculptures and monuments have been featured in national magazines including, Sculpture Journal, Art & Antiques, California Home & Design, Gentry, Garden Design, Luxury Pools & Spas, The Guild Sourcebooks of Architectural Arts and Sculpture, Art Business News, and Art World News, as well as her sculptures being featured in dozens of newspaper articles and news reports on Radio Free Europe, Canada Free Press and news reports on ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN's Nightly News, Fox, and BBC television stations. Slater is a member of the National Sculpture Society, The National Museum of Women in the Arts, The Portrait Society of America, The National Association of Professional Women and has a Wikipedia article as a notable person. Paula majored in fine art at California State University at Fullerton, receiving a Bachelor of Arts Degree. She earned a Master of Arts Degree from John F. Kennedy University.
