Pequeño Gigante Films is a privately held production film company founded in
March of 2006. Pequeño Gigante Films was bought by filmmaker, Marcial Rios
Salcido. The company prides itself for having a great understanding of what
it’s like to be Latino in the U.S. The goal is to produce a diverse range
of quality films, covering a wide spectrum of experiences and characters
from across the Latin world and bringing them to the mainstream media.

In the brief span of its existence the company has produced the feature
film, Maquillaje, wining an award for Marcial Rios Salcido for Best Director
in 2007 in the CineSin Film Festival. Currently the company is in
pre-production for its second film, Orange Grove, written and directed by
