Perry's Previews features Perry Chen, a 4th grader at the Torrey Hills Elementary School in San Diego.  He is the youngest nationally-recognized film critic, Annie Awards presenter, TV personality, animator/filmmaker, youngest blogger on Animation World Network (AWN), and radio talk show host on wsRadio’s “Perry Previews the Movies”. Perry reviews movies on a multi-media platform on TV, radio, print, and web.  He is a paid entertainment critic for San Diego Entertainer Magazine which has over 80,000 readers monthly.

Perry became a national sensation with his debut on CBS Evening News with Katie Couric and later on NPR with Liane Hansen.  He has been also featured on Fox 5, CBS 8 San Diego, KUSI, The Big Biz Show, Roots Up Radio, San Diego Union Tribune, San Diego Magazine, San Diego Family Magazine, San Diego News Network, La Jolla Light, San Diego Ranch Coast News, The China Press, We Chinese, etc. He has written over 40 reviews since Nov 2008, and many recent reviews have been published on nine local newspapers.  He has interviewed renowned filmmakers and been invited to speak and cover numerous film festivals as youngest credentialed media.

Perry is the sole animator of the upcoming educational short "Beyond the Forest," about a young Jewish girl Ingrid Pitt's survival during the Holocaust.  He is partnering with Oscar-nominated animator Bill Plympton and director Kevin Sean Michaels, co-producers Drs. Jud Newborn and Zhu Shen (Perry's mom).  The film is slated to be released in 2011 at various film festivals.
