The Pine Factory has been established for about 20 years.It is based at perrenarworthal outside of Truro,on the edge of the beautiful Bissoe Valley. The Pine factory sells mainly to local people normal everyday furniture,such as wardrobes,chest of drawers, bookcases, tables. chairs and beds.The Pine Factory sells also through 2 shops ,the main shop is at Barncoose ,Redruth.Longest established shop is at Long Rock Penzance.
There used to be a lot of small pine Factories not only in Cornwall, but throughout the UK. with imports of pine furniture , coming from China, many people went out of business because they could not compete with the low price.
We felt at the Pine Factory that what the importers could not do was personal service especially special size item.The Pine Factory, has always produced special sized items,so this tradition has always carried on. Also the quality of pine that is available in China and places like Brazil does not equal the quality of Scandinavian pine,nor are the forests managed the same way. There are not many places left where a customer can have made a certain size wardrobe or bookcase and not be charged a small fortune for making it.
The Pine Factory is opening its old fashioned way of doing business to people outside of Cornwall,via the internet using it's website Loloz,an unusual name which is a nick name of the boss's daughter Lowenna,a good old Cornish name.
The website is marketed through google and is limited to what is sold out of Cornwall.
We pride ourselves that we sell the cheapest beds in the UK but we only sell them in Cornwall, we do not sell flat packed furniture ( apart from if we make a certain item ourselves for access purposes) such as Mexican furniture, as the chances of bits missing is high, so we sell these locally on the internet we leave these items to others.
We do sell and specialise in wardrobes either standard size or any size , these are sold at factory prices. We sell a very popular small wardrobe 4ft high 3 ft wide for £250 delivered,anywhere in England. Also we offer special size chest of drawers as well as standard
