Vilafranca del Penedès, Barcelona, Spain – Bodegas Pinord has received 96 points from Wine Enthusiast for its Lluna Plena Biodynamic Chardonnay 2018, one of the highest ratings awarded by the influential American publication. The accolade highlights both the quality of the wine and the winery's long-standing commitment to organic and biodynamic viticulture in the Penedès.
Produced from a single vineyard and crafted in extremely limited quantities, Lluna Plena is part of Pinord's VI+D Collection, an experimental range of micro-vinifications created to showcase the unique character of exceptional vineyard sites across the Penedès. Led by Mireia Tetas, the fourth generation of the Pinord family, the project combines organic and biodynamic farming with low-intervention winemaking to produce wines that faithfully express their terroir.
For more than two decades, Bodegas Pinord has been a pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in Spain, working with regenerative farming practices that promote biodiversity, healthy soils and natural vineyard balance. That long-term commitment is reflected in every bottle of Lluna Plena.
