Hello All!


          My name is Marcus aka The Retroholic, and I'm an employee of this fine establishment! I'd like to shed some light to the general customer who doesn't know exactly what's going on behind the scenes of Play & Collect.

First of all this company is a tight knit family, not a corporation. We currently have one retail location, despite our corporate and clean feel when entering either the store front or website. We are still in the early stages of retail but have had a large amount of success online due to the abilities of our purchasers who are some of the best trend spotters in the biz. We are mostly constructed of employees from the Niagara Region in Ontario with the bulk of those employees (currently less than 20 individuals) actually calling Beamsville, the location of the store, their home.

You will notice the second you walk into the store that this is no ordinary customer service experience. Our front line employees are some of the most charismatic and hilarious people you'll meet. They will never hesitate to greet you upon entering and have been known to get deep into to 30 minute conversations, on the most random topics imaginable. We think our customer service experience is like no other! Especially in the field.

Pre-Order cost. Our cost for a game is $5 to pre-order and consoles $50. In most cases less than the competition and applicable on just about every new game coming out without a lot of restrictions. From Anime to the really hard to get titles, we stock them all and usually have them the day they come out!

Prices. At Play & Collect we are committed to beating out our retail competition and offering our customers "Big Box" prices in an intimate, home town environment. Small but mighty comes to mind when thinking of our business.

Selection. one step in the doors and you will realize this is no ordinary gaming or collecting store. The tidiness and mass amount of different titles in both regards will blow you away guaranteed.

Local Warehouse. Can't find something in the store? There's a good chance our warehouse will have what you're looking for. Located just 2 minutes away driving, we can usually bring it over same, or next day.

Something new every day! We are constantly bringing in new product. If you don't come in weekly i can almost guarantee the store will look completely revamped at your next visit as we are constantly trying to be fresh and up to date with new product.

We LISTEN! If there's something relevant you don't see us stocking, tell us! We have brought in over 20 products based on customer requests and we don't plan on stopping there. We want to be your one stop shop for all of your gaming and collecting needs.
