About

The European Quantum Internet Alliance (QIA) is a consortium of ~44 world-leading institutions working together to build a global Quantum Internet made in Europe. By combining QIA’s diverse interdisciplinary team, we will establish an innovative European platform for Quantum Internet development and build a full-stack prototype network that has the potential to become the first of its kind in the world.

Led by QuTech, QIA consists of academic institutions, telecom operators, system integrators and quantum technology start-ups across nine (9) European countries. It is currently co-funded by the European Union’s Horizon Europe research and innovation programme under grant number 101102140.
