About

The Registered Digital Installer Licensing Body (RDI-LB) is a not-for-profit Community Interest Company. It was created to act as a guardian to raise the professional status of TV reception engineers and the TV reception industry as a whole.

In 2010, the role of the RDI-LB extended to include a wider remit for digital engineers across a range of disciplines.

The licensed engineer scheme first started in 2006 with the backing of the leading trade bodies and the Government. Working with colleges and the industry RDI-LB has developed the only national recognised vocational courses for digital engineers.
