About

Having covered America’s legal system as a journalist, as a communications manager for a progressive DA, and as a strategist for an advocacy nonprofit, social documentarian Paula Lehman-Ewing now takes a step back and examines the modern civil rights movement from 30,000 feet. Her debut book, Reimagining the Revolution: Roadmaps for the Modern Civil Rights Movement, profiles six abolitionists, people and organizations who are paving new paths toward a more just future. A digital journey into the modern civil rights movement will accompany the book, with video interviews and mini-docs.
