“RALLY AT THE STRIP” DIFFERENT, UNIQUE & SPECIAL!

“Rally at the Strip” is now renamed the “4th Annual - Rally at the Strip – II” (RATS - II)
RATS - II will be at a new location for the spring biker season - May 3rd thru 6th 2012 season (The first weekend in May 2012). Glen is moving the rally just behind the previous venue on his family property (359 Pecos Road) just minutes from his original venue. “New changes means new excitement,” stated Glen whom has seen his dream become reality and much much more.  Now RATS - II will have a 6900 sq. ft. drive thru biker bar instead of the 3900 sq. ft. drive thru pub at the old track/venue. The name stays the same the EXTREME THROTTLE SALOON!  Glen is going back to what he calls "old school," bringing more fun & entertainment back to the spring 2012 event. NEW for 2012 RATS - II will have dirt drags with a twist. The twist is the dirt drag racing will begin/start INSIDE the drive thru biker bar appropriately named the EXTREME THROTTLE SALOON! Yes, you read correctly, the staging lanes will be inside the bar racing out to the finish line approximately 660 feet away 1/8 mile, now that spells EXCITEMENT!

The Extreme Throttle Saloon much like previous events will still have a catwalk for all the ladies dancing needs & it will have the moonshine still so bikers can ride thru the bar, get their picture taken in front of the real & authentic moonshine still as well as do a burnout if they choose.  NEW for the Extreme Throttle Saloon is a waterslide, yes a waterslide. This waterslide is 27 ft high, anyone can climb to the top of the pub & slide down landing just in front of the bar now that is different & fun!! NEW inside the Extreme Throttle Saloon is “overnight stay rooms or bunk house rooms.” These rooms can be rented for the day or for the event, so basically you can walk out of your room, look down on the 6900 sq. ft. drive thru biker bar, now how cool is that.

These rooms are limited so e-mail Glen for more information & for reservations.  NEW for 2012 is the always impressive mechanical bull but now it’s not just a bull it is a banana and other fun removable parts. Glen said you would just have to see for yourself & as always a photographer will be onsite if you would like to purchase pictures of yourself having fun on the mechanical bull, in the catwalk, in front of the moonshine still, firing weapons or simply racing down the dirt track in the dirt drag competition!

NEW:  Just added ZIP LINE, yes zip line over the crowd to the stage as well as view the beautiful scenery of the Great Smoky Mountains!    New:  HOT AIR BALOON RIDES, this will be a 1st for any bike rally in Tennessee, enjoy the view & enjoy the excitement of the rally as well as the mountains of East Tennessee!

NEW for 2012 Glen is in negotiations with yet another TV production crew to film his events in 2012 much like they did in the spring of 2011. Also NEW for the spring, Glen is in negotiations with a well known company to bring some huge & nice firearms/weapons to RATS - II so you the spectator can see what it feels like to shoot/fire some nice & powerful weapons!!  More info regarding this is coming soon!

Event passes are still $35 for the entire 3 ½ days of fun filled excitement & day passes are still $20 per day.  Bands booked to date: Jasmine Cain – Saturday @ 10pm (May 5th)  HiredGuns – Friday @ 10pm (May 4th)

Glen does have special rates for groups of 25 or more bikers, so please e-mail for more info.  Vendors as always, sign up early for your vendor spot, as you know Glen limits some products/vendors to a certain limit to make it more fair for you to profit from spectator sales ie only 2 LED vendors, 2 patch vendors, 3 food vendors etc. See vendor info on the website for application & vendor cost. Sign up for both spring/fall events & receive an even more reduced vendor rate! Glen knows without quality vendors he will not have a quality rally & he strives for excellence!

Glen wants everyone to know he is still in negotiations regarding the Smoky Mountain Bikefest in Gatlinburg, Tennessee & he will make a huge announcement in a few weeks regarding the specifics of that 2nd annual Smoky Mountain Bikefest event in Gatlinburg!
