About

The purpose of the Ranger Legacy Foundation is to share the heart and soul of what it means to be a Ranger and to honor Rangers in perpetuity by means of a Ranger Legacy Center that provides a forum for the preservation and elevation of the iconic Range

The Ranger Legacy has been developed and fostered for more an 80-year history, but the origins of the Rangers can be traced back to the 1700s. In 1974, General Abrams chartered the Ranger Battalions to be “the best light infantry unit in the world” and a “standard bearer for the rest of the Army”.

The Ranger Creed reverberates through the hearts and minds of all who dare to join the ranks.  The character traits exemplified by Rangers—courage, determination, integrity, dedication, intestinal fortitude, and respect—have been and continue to be fundamental to the greatness of the United States Military.  This Legacy is the very genesis of the Ranger Brotherhood – an ethos that binds them together and demands 100% and then some. That is what drives Rangers. That is what inspires Rangers. It is this same Legacy that is the driving force for the Ranger Legacy Foundation.

The Ranger Legacy Foundation is a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization.
