Renae Authement Books is a Texas-based children's book business dedicated to inspiring young readers through entertaining stories filled with adventure, humor, and meaningful life lessons.

Founded by Renae Authement, a retired registered nurse, nursing professor, podcast host, and proud grandmother affectionately known as "Granna," the business grew from a cherished family tradition of telling bedtime stories to her grandchildren.

What began as imaginative stories shared at bedtime has become The Adventures of Frank & Faye, a children's chapter book created to entertain young readers, encourage positive values, and bring families together.

Meet Frank and Faye!

Frank and Faye are a fun-loving brother and sister who discover that everyday life can become an unforgettable adventure!

Frank is an energetic boy who loves fishing, exploring the outdoors, and discovering new things. His adventurous spirit sometimes gets him into trouble, especially when he makes decisions without thinking about the consequences.

His younger sister, Faye, brings her own personality and humor to their adventures. Often accompanied by her beloved doll, Pickles, Faye has a way of keeping Frank on his toes!

Together with their parents, their lovable dog Boo, their cat Rat Cat, and their friends, Frank and Faye experience childhood adventures filled with laughter, surprises, challenges, and important lessons.

The Adventures Begin!

In Book One, The Adventures of Frank & Faye, the siblings' lives change when their family moves from Cypress, Texas, to the small country community of Bosqueville, near Waco.

While Frank looks forward to fishing, exploring, and making new discoveries, Faye struggles with leaving her familiar surroundings and friends behind.

As they settle into their new home, the siblings encounter unexpected adventures, make new friends, and learn that change can bring wonderful opportunities.

Each chapter features a relatable childhood experience and concludes with a meaningful life lesson about kindness, honesty, responsibility, friendship, respect, or making good choices.
