PAAO has initiated April 25th as International Parental Alienation Awareness Day. Countries world wide have organized events of in commemoration of April 25th-Parental Alienation Awareness Day. In the United States, PAAO has begun a governor's campaign to get proclamations from the governors to declare April 25th as Parental Alienation Awareness Day. We are pleased to announce that 9 states have already declared or recognized that date as such.
The Islands of Bermuda have also declared April 25th as Parental Alienation Awareness Day, and PAAO has provided webinars and workshops, including one with Dr. Stephen Ceci, nationally famous author, lecturer, researcher, and television personality, who developed ground breaking methods of questioning child witnesses.
