About

SAFE Net (Scam Awareness & Fraud Education Network) is a community-driven nonprofit organization based in Southwest Louisiana, founded to combat the growing threat of scams, fraud, and cybercrime through proactive education, outreach, and victim support. Our mission is to empower individuals—especially seniors, vulnerable populations, and small businesses—with the tools, knowledge, and resources needed to recognize, avoid, and report fraudulent activities.

SAFE Net brings together professionals from diverse sectors, including law enforcement, cybersecurity, finance, social services, and entrepreneurship. With their combined expertise, we deliver accessible educational workshops, public awareness campaigns, and one-on-one support to scam victims. We regularly partner with community organizations, public agencies, and local businesses to extend our reach and ensure our programming is culturally relevant and grounded in real-life challenges faced by Louisiana residents.

Our programs include in-person seminars, fraud prevention classes, scam alert distribution, social media education, and targeted outreach to those most at risk. We also provide investigative support and scam documentation to assist overwhelmed or under-resourced law enforcement agencies.

SAFE Net is proud to be one of the only nonprofit organizations in Louisiana exclusively focused on fraud awareness and scam prevention. We are committed to building safer, more informed communities—where every resident has the knowledge and support they need to protect themselves and their loved ones.
