You may sell one time, or every month

Santa Barbara Charter School Flea Market and Craft Faire provides support to the local community by providing a place to sell art, crafts, books, antiques, etc… In addition the families of SBCS at times get involved and sell items to raise additional money for the school.   This allows students to help make a significant contribution to their classrooms directly by sponsoring the flea market during a specific month. The class will be responsible for the market during that month and organizing a special event to raise additional funds.  This money can be used to help sponsor class trips, special supplies, or other. This program helps facilitate increased self-esteem.
SBCS flea market is for the crafter, collector, musician, antique dealer, flower vendor, face painter, balloon sculptor and more. The SBCS market is held every third Saturday of the month at SBCS in the parking lot adjacent to Goleta Valley Junior High, where all community members may come browse the many unique vendors for FREE. Overseen by SB Charter School Parent Alliance and run by parents and students. You will find as time goes on that this will become widely regarded as the most unique flea market and successful, ongoing fundraising within Santa Barbara County.

California state budget cuts over the last few years have cost all public school systems millions of dollars which would have been allocated for arts, instructional supplies, aides, computers…  It is our hope that with this monthly fund raising opportunity being developed, Santa Barbara Charter School will benefit from money raised for programs that they themselves earned!

We encourage the community to visit our market to help support local artists and crafts persons, and find a new treasure…

Reduce, Reuse and Recycle.
