The Steak Cookoff Association based in Fort Worth, Texas, is the largest sanctioning organization for grilling competitions. The SCA manages the judging and grilling rules for competitions around the world. Each year, the winner of every competition is invited to compete in the SCA Steak World Championship. Held in Fort Worth, Texas, in March each year, hundreds of cooks from around the world compete for the world title and a $10,000 first place.
