4KIDS

4KIDS has been serving the community since 1997 as a registered 501(c)(3) to provide hope, homes, and healing to children in crisis. 4KIDS services include prevention-based care such as CarePortal, in addition to its long-standing impact through faith-based foster care, residential care for pregnant and parenting young women, young adults aging out of the foster care system with nowhere to go, to trauma-informed therapy for children and families.

During that time, 4KIDS has impacted the lives of 30,000 children, teens and young adults. 4KIDS serve areas in Florida include Broward, Palm Beach and Treasure Coast counties, along with Southwest Florida. In partnership with local churches, businesses, and government agencies, 4KIDS is committed to finding a home for every child, and redefining foster care in our community.

Prevention services include strengthening families and providing hope to children in the community by meeting tangible needs and developing support through partnerships and tools such as CarePortal and more. 4KIDS.us/CarePortal

4KIDS provides trauma-informed therapy centered on the Emotional, Physical, Intellectual and Character needs (EPIC) of children that have experienced abuse, abandonment or neglect. Clinical services for kids and families consist of those needing extra support, therapy, and healing, as well as trauma-informed training for parents and caregivers. 4KIDS.us/EPIC

4KIDS foster care services include recruiting, training, licensing, and wrap-around services for individuals who desire to open their home to a child or teen in the foster care system. 4KIDS.us/Foster

4KIDS has residential foster homes with house parents geared towards vulnerable
teens, and keeping large sibling groups in foster care together.

4KIDS residential maternity program, His Caring Place, is a home designed to help women between the ages of 18-25 facing an unplanned pregnancy and/or parenting young children to grow and thrive. 4KIDS.us/His-Caring-Place

4KID Independent Living program consists of residential homes with live-in residential advisors for young adults who have aged out of foster care or are experiencing homelessness, with a focus on academic, vocational, and spiritual development. 4KIDS.us/Independent-Living
