Southeast Industrial Equipment, Inc. (SIE) is a full solutions provider in the materials handling industry. As the Southeast's largest materials handling dealer, SIE provides customers with a comprehensive range of new & used Toyota forklifts, Aichi aerial lifts, Capacity yard spotters, Columbia personnel carriers and more for sale, lease or rent. In addition, SIE offers planned and long term maintenance programs, emergency after-hours service and repair capabilities on-site or at one of the 10 branch locations throughout North Carolina, South Carolina, Virginia and Georgia. Southeast Industrial Equipment is a second-generation, family-owned operation.

In 1994, with twenty years’ experience in the material handling equipment business and three years as president of SIE under his belt, CEO Steve Thorne purchased the company from JM Family Enterprises, Inc. In 2006, after several successful years of growth, Steve turned the company over to his son and daughter Cory Thorne and BJ Thorne, President and Vice President respectively. Under Cory’s leadership, SIE has continued to evolve as the premier supplier of quality equipment and products and superior services in the materials handling industry.
