Shine On Performing Arts (SOPA)

Shine On Performing Arts is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization established August 2022 serving families in Leander, Cedar Park, Round Rock, Georgetown, Kyle, Dripping Spring, Manor, Taylor, Harker Heights, Killeen, Bastrop and Austin, dedicated to training all ages and all abilities in all the areas of performing arts.  With a desire to offer space to CREATE, grow, and learn through educational classes, camps and individual instruction, they strive to INSPIRE all participants in the area of the arts to SHINE together. Equipped with a belief that everyone has the potential to be a leader, there is hope in what is possible, regardless of one's limitations. SOPA’s goal is to build up the soul of a person and facilitate growth in the areas that are not shining their brightest. Students find opportunities to learn and then lead, both on and off the stage. Skill levels begin with beginner level classes and student productions to advanced classes, with Student Productions and Main Stage Production with an introduction to pre-professional training as SOPA seeks to expand the arts in the Greater Austin area.
