About |
Founded in 2017, Seattle Tennis and Education Foundation (STEF) inspires kids to succeed in school, on the court/playfield and in life through a series of programs that provide a positive and nurturing environment for under-resourced and at-risk youth. STEF brings together experienced coaches, adult mentors and educational tutors to provide vital programming for students while also providing key support for parents. STEF offers programming throughout the year, serving children and their families in grades one through eight. The organization is an official United States Tennis Association (USTA) NJTL chapter, a program started by tennis legend Arthur Ashe in 1968. STEF is an exempt organization as described in Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code serving the greater Seattle area.
