Built on nearly a decade of research in Suriname, the company combines Guadua bamboo cultivation with advanced biochar carbon removal technologies, renewable biomass energy production, and engineered bamboo construction materials.

At the center of its platform is bamboo biochar — a stable carbon-rich material produced through engineered biomass conversion processes that permanently store atmospheric carbon for centuries. These biochar products qualify for high-permanence carbon dioxide removal (CDR) markets increasingly demanded by institutional buyers and corporate net-zero programs. In addition to carbon storage, the company’s biochar applications can improve soil quality and help filter pollutants and heavy metals, including mercury contamination affecting inland waterways in Suriname.

Alongside its carbon removal activities, the company develops engineered Guadua bamboo products for construction and industrial applications, as well as renewable biomass energy and additional bio-based outputs. Guadua bamboo is among the fastest-growing and structurally strongest bamboo species in the world, making it suitable for scalable sustainable material production while also supporting biodiversity and ecological restoration.
