About

Community Dental Foundation founded in 2007 is a 501(c)(3) organization which provides full-mouth dental services to children 2-20 years of age who do not have dental insurance or transportation to get help.  Services are provided with a state-of-the-art CDF Mobile Clinic which goes directly into the projects, schools, and communities and provides services on the spot.  Children have multiple issues; 75% of these children have never seen a dentist.  The Foundation serve children in the Maricopa Country/Phoenix areas in Arizona.

The children leave the Clinic with their smiles restored and self-confidence intact.   They leave with a toothbrush, toothpaste, floss stick and an educational program on how to care for their teeth.  Oral health is definitely tied to overall health, and it is imperative that children establish consistency in taking care of the teeth.

The Foundation is presently fund-raising and has received grants for this most important mission from the ADA Samuel Harris Fund and the National Children's Oral Health Foundation.  The average cost for treating a child with multiple problems is high, sometimes near $1000.00.  It is a rare instance where a child comes in with one or two cavities.
