Independent Renewable Resources Corp. (“IRRC”) owns a used motor oil processing facility located at Instow, Saskatchewan. The Facility produces three primary products: 1) Distillate, 2) Naphtha / Gasoil / Kerosene (“NGK”) and 3) Residual. The Facility’s current processing throughput is ~566 barrels per day (“bpd”) but could be doubled given its modular design. A modification to the Facility was completed in 2023 to convert the Facility to run on natural
gas rather than propane, which is expected to reduce operating costs and is a cleaner fuel.
