According to Markewatch, the fitness industry is expected to in increase exponentially during  2020 to 2026.(“Fitness Market Share 2020 Global Industry Size, Growth, Segments, Revenue, Manufacturers and 2026 Forecast Research Report,” n.d.) In Ireland there are only a handful of fitness clothing brands, and they all lack distinction besides their names/logos. Shakolo will be the pioneering fitness brand in Ireland. We will offer 3 length options (petite, regular, and tall), and unique designs (African fabric patterns) which will be incorporated in our fabrics while maintaining a modern & fresh styling. Lastly, our business will be a sustainable company. All fabrics used will be environmentally friendly, packages will be either biodegradable or recyclable, and our suppliers will practice a sustainable lifestyle. Providing our customers stylish, unique, and high quality products that not only looks and feels good, but is doing good. Starting off as a women’s fitness brand, we will expand to offer men’s wear for bodybuilders as there is a huge gap in the market. Once we have grown as a company, we will open the first fitness apparel manufacturing mill in Liberia. As the owner, born in Liberia and 54.1% of the population living below the poverty line (“Liberia Population below poverty line - Economy,” 2020) the mill will help provide work for so many and will help the economy immensely.
