Shara Turner is a versatile professional with expertise spanning real estate, mortgage advising, Yoga, and Ayurveda. She began her real estate career in 2005 as one of the first REALTORS® to join Sotheby’s International Realty Canada when it opened its inaugural office in Kitsilano, Vancouver. As part of this founding group, Shara introduced Vancouver residents to the iconic Sotheby’s brand, allowing her clients to benefit from its global reputation for excellence.
Over nearly nine years, Shara built a thriving business, earning a reputation for her dedication, professionalism, and integrity. Her genuine care for her clients’ best interests fostered a loyal following and a strong referral network throughout Greater Vancouver.
In 2013, Shara chose to step away from her successful real estate career to pursue her passion for Yoga. She travelled to India, where she opened two Yoga retreat centres – one in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, and another in Varkala, Kerala. During this time, she taught and managed yoga teacher training programs, immersing herself deeply in the practices of Yoga and Ayurveda. After nearly seven years abroad, she returned to her hometown of Ottawa to be closer to family.
Today, Shara is based in Ottawa, specializing in residential real estate and mortgage advising. She works with buyers and sellers across the region, combining her love for people with her expertise in real estate to guide clients through each step of their journey.
