About

I'm Amber.  I love the crisp mornings and warm afternoons of Fall and Spring, but Fall is my absolute favorite time of year.  I'm completely obsessed with anything and everything pumpkin spice.  Starting in September, my house will smell like it and most likely I will have something pumpkin flavored in my hand.  Recently purple has become my favorite color and I cannot get enough of it. I am a born and raised true Southern girl, but don't pass me a glass of sweet tea!  I'll pass it right back!  Sweets are my weakness.  Cakes, cookies, brownies, ice cream and all.

Since a young age, I have always had a camera in my hand.   I was the girl who went to a 4 day youth camp with 6 empty disposable cameras... And they always came back full (usually a day before camp ended).  I got my first digital camera in High School and continued to fill my walls and computer with pictures.  In 2007 with a simple Kodak point and shoot camera I took a friend's bridal portraits three days before her wedding.  From there the photographer bug hit.  I was offered a job as a primary second shooter with her photographer and at that point I  knew that this was what I wanted to do.  I bought my first "professional" camera in 2011 and have yet to put it down!

I enjoy a mix between  portrait and lifestyle photography.  I love shooting everything from children and families to couples and weddings!   I love to capture that natural and raw emotion.  Doing so makes me giddy and I've been known to do a happy dance when it happens, which is often, and I hope that I will be able to show off my moves to you soon!

You will always find me with my camera in my hand.  There is always something I want to capture even if it is just for my own personal collection. A pretty sunset or yes, I even take pictures of my food.

I love to capture my couples laughing and of course kissing.  The mushier the better...I think mushier is a word :).  Holdings hands and staring into each others eyes and the love that my camera can capture, it melts me.  The things I see through my lens every day are the things dreams are made of.
