About

About Stonehurst Cottage:

Stonehurst Cottage is an exceptional luxury holiday retreat in Norfolk, England, where contemporary British art, distinctive interiors and thoughtful hospitality come together to create a truly individual guest experience.

Dating from the 19th century, the beautifully restored cottage combines historic character with contemporary comforts, carefully considered design and a remarkable collection of original artwork. Created as both a luxurious private retreat and a living gallery, Stonehurst Cottage offers guests the opportunity to experience art in an intimate residential setting.

A Living Gallery:

At the heart of the Stonehurst Cottage experience is its relationship with acclaimed British artists Nina Mae Fowler and Craig Wylie, whose original works are displayed throughout the property. Their work is represented in significant public and private collections, including London's National Portrait Gallery.

Guests have the exclusive opportunity to arrange private visits to the artists' working studios, located just a short walk from the Cottage. Selected artworks are also available for purchase, and enquiries about commissions are welcomed.

A Distinctive Norfolk Escape:

Stonehurst Cottage provides private accommodation, whether guests book the entire three-bedroom cottage or choose its one-bedroom Parker Suite retreat.

Beautifully appointed bedrooms, a private cinema room, an inviting living room with wood-burning stove and a thoughtfully equipped kitchen offer the comforts of a luxury private home.

Guests can discover Norfolk's celebrated coastline, picturesque villages, country houses, gardens, independent shops and outstanding local food and drink.

Additional experiences, including private dining and artist studio visits, can be arranged to make each stay particularly memorable.

Stonehurst Cottage welcomes discerning travellers seeking privacy, exceptional design, authentic local experiences and a distinctive alternative to conventional luxury accommodation.
