Street Lamp Media LLC is an independent documentary and video production company founded by filmmaker Daniel Vital. The company develops documentary films, short-form productions and media projects that explore education, social impact, culture and human stories.

Its latest feature documentary, LET US READ, examines America’s reading crisis, dyslexia and evidence-based reading instruction. The film follows researchers, educators and communities working to translate the science of reading into effective classroom practice, including work filmed at the UCSF Dyslexia Center, Chartwell School, Hollister School District and Rancho Cielo Youth Campus.

Street Lamp Media has produced projects in the United States and internationally for nonprofit organizations, institutions and companies, with an emphasis on authentic storytelling and measurable community impact.
