Established in 1990 by our C.E.O. Mike Jordan, Summit Systems has become a market leader in the plastics industry. This range also includes ATEX approved vacuum conveying for both plastics and non plastics applications.
Based in Tamworth, Staffordshire we are ideally situated in the centre of the UK’s motorway network to support what is recognised as the strongest service network in the field. We provide a genuine 24/7 service coverage from experienced engineers who are regionally based throughout the country. Such is our reputation in this field, that an increasing number of customers are outsourcing much of their maintenance and service work to us.
Our parts stockholding is in excess of £2 million which enables over 90% of spares orders to be satisfied the next day.
Over 80% of our new business comes as a result of recommendations from existing customers.
We offer specific and innovative solutions, from small units through to full turnkey projects custom designed to precisely fit our customer’s needs. We guarantee to provide the “best fit for the application” and if any product fails to do what we have said it will do – we will take it back.
Summit Systems have been repeated Finalists in the Plastics Industry Awards category, Ancillary Machine Supplier of the Year and have won the award on five occasions. In both 2007 & 2008 we have had an Apprentice in the final of the Apprentice of the Year category.
Recently, our wide experience has led us to diversify into providing equipment for the recycling industry, Granulators, Shredders, washers, sorters, metal detection and many other recycling related products. Additionally, the formation of our metal fabrication division has enabled us to offer the bespoke solutions: for which we are renowned, at far more competitive prices.
