Sue is a university qualified educator with years of experience working with both adults and children. She has also worked in venue and event management, as a celebrant, in government, private enterprise, and as a complementary healthcare practitioner and teacher.

As a writer of training material for Commonwealth and local government, ceremonies for celebrancy work, plays and musicals for teaching performing arts to youth, fan-fiction, and blog posts, she has always been an author. Her first mainstream publication has come about due to her personal experiences of bereavement, ceremony, and as a cancer survivor.
