The Hip Hop Network was created initially as a platform to promote Hip Hop Artists in early 2007 and later developed to be a worldwide network for Entertainment, Music & Film promotion online network. The platform promoted break out artists such as Soulja Boy, French Montana, LiL Mama, Mann and producer Ryan Leslie to name a few.  At its peak THHN owned and operated 42 websites online and was supported and developed by Demand Media, owned by Richard Rosenblatt,former head of MySpace.  THHN was founded by music execs Diane Taren aka "Queen D" and Omar Lindsey aka "Iceman".
