Top of the Hill Distillery produces TOPO Organic Spirits in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The Distillery, the brainchild of North Carolina restaurant entrepreneur Scott Maitland, is a sister company to the landmark Top of the Hill Restaurant and Brewery. TOPO Organic Spirits are made with 100% organic soft red winter wheat grown less than 100 miles from the Distillery in Scotland Neck, NC. The Distillery's commitment to local business and agriculture is captured in the final product: a small-batch portfolio of spirits that is hand crafted from grain to glass. The distillery opened in 2012 and currently produces organic vodka, gin and moonshine whiskey. An oak-aged whiskey is due for release this fall.
