About

Tadokome is an independent, Africa-focused mining advisory firm working across the copper, gold and uranium sectors. We help investors, project owners, operators and strategic partners identify, evaluate, structure and advance mineral projects in complex and high-potential African markets.

Our role is to help clients make better-informed decisions and reduce execution risk at every stage of the mining project lifecycle. We support opportunities from initial identification and project screening through to technical assessment, investment structuring, exploration, development, production planning and commercialisation.

Tadokome provides project origination and opportunity assessment services, helping clients identify mineral assets and potential partners that align with their strategic, technical and commercial objectives. We coordinate early-stage reviews covering geology, exploration potential, jurisdiction, permitting, infrastructure, logistics, security, local operating conditions and commercial feasibility.

Where an opportunity merits further consideration, Tadokome helps establish the framework required to advance the project. This may include coordinating geological and technical specialists, defining exploration or development work programmes, preparing budgets, assessing project risks, identifying suitable operators and supporting discussions with investors, contractors, government stakeholders and commercial counterparties.

Our expertise includes mining due diligence, mineral project evaluation, exploration oversight, investment and partnership structuring, operator selection, regulatory coordination, infrastructure assessment, ESG considerations, community engagement, supply-chain development and offtake strategy. We work with experienced specialists in geology, mining engineering, legal and regulatory matters, environmental and social performance, logistics and commercial development, selecting the appropriate team for each mandate.

Tadokome is designed to provide independent, practical and commercially focused advice. We do not operate mines and do not take equity positions in the projects we advise. Instead, we act as an independent lead advisor, coordinating the relevant technical, legal, ESG and in-country professionals required to move a project forward. This flexible model allows clients to access specialist expertise without the cost and rigidity of maintaining a large permanent organisation.

Our work is particularly relevant to copper opportunities in the Democratic Republic of Congo and the wider Central African Copperbelt, as well as selected gold and uranium projects across Africa. We consider not only the quality of the mineral asset, but also the factors that determine whether a project can be responsibly and commercially developed: infrastructure, transport, power, water, permitting, local relationships, financing, operating capability, market access and offtake potential.

For investors, Tadokome provides independent project screening, technical and commercial coordination and a clearer understanding of the risks and opportunities associated with African mineral assets. For project owners, we provide structured support to improve project definition, strengthen execution planning, identify suitable partners and prepare opportunities for investment or commercial engagement. For strategic and industrial partners, we help assess supply opportunities and develop practical pathways from mineral resource to market.

Tadokome’s objective is straightforward: to turn credible African mineral opportunities into properly evaluated, responsibly structured and commercially executable projects. By combining sector knowledge, local coordination, specialist networks and disciplined project analysis, we help clients progress with greater clarity and confidence.
