Tax Smart Solutions was founded with the sole intent of assisting South African offshore workers. South Africa has removed the 183 day exemption under which many people were able to claim exemption from income tax in South Africa. In march 2020 this exemption falls away and South Africans (those who can) need to put in place appropriate structures and plans to avoid facing tax bills of up to 45% of their earnings.
