Technics Publications started with a single title in 2005: Data Modeling Made Simple. The author of this first book (and now manager at Technics Publications), Steve Hoberman, felt if you can write a book, surely the easiest parts would come after – that is, getting it published. He was completely wrong. The publishing part involves not just book manufacturing (which turns out to be the easier part), but the challenging and ongoing activities of distribution and marketing. After publishing over 50 titles, Technics Publications has the manufacturing, distributing, and marketing activities down to a fine-tuned process.
Technics Publications has four lines of books: DMBOK and Governance, Data Modeling, Business, and Analytics and Big Data. All four lines continue to grow with an average of six new titles per year.
We are very proud of each title, and are always looking for more titles. If you have ever considered writing a book that would fit in one of four lines, please complete this template and then email it to us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
