Welcome to thephotooftheweek.com. This site is designed to get people to go out a shoot! Whether your a photographer with professional gear, or just a person who likes snapping pics with there phone it doesn't matter.
How it works:
Every Friday there will be a new photo assignment, you will be able to find the current assignment by clicking "current assignment" at the top of the page. You will have until the following Tuesday to take your photo and submit it to thephotooftheweek@gmail.com by 7pm eastern time. Then all photos that were submitted will be posted on the site along with a voting poll to allow people to vote for the best photo. Voting will close the following friday at 2pm eastern time and the winner will be announced that night along with the new assignment.
The winner of the week will receive a prize
