About

One of the fastest growing companies in the Midwest, Prosource is making a name for itself as a leader in the document solutions field by integrating new technologies which provide solutions for copying, printing, and solving business document and workflow processes.

Prosource has become the company that it is today due largely to the efforts of its staff of dedicated professionals who recognized a need for full business document and process control. Prosource was founded as Cincinnati Copiers in 1985 by David Russert and Ted Cook. Ben Russert joined the management team three years later and now presides as President and second-generation owner. In 1991, Cincinnati Copiers expanded to include the Dayton area, and the name was changed to Pro-Copy Technologies. In 2005, rapid technological growth and advancements prompted rebranding and the name Prosource was introduced.

Prosource works with businesses to identify and respond to any document need, whether they involve copiers, printers, fax machines, imaging software, or other technologies. Prosource provides the most cutting edge document imaging and management solutions available in the world market, with solutions that are designed to assist clients in becoming more efficient, productive, and competitive.

To further the vision of being a total document management provider, Prosource acquired docuVision in 2011. This acquisition enabled Prosource to expand its document solutions offerings. Prosource’s product offerings range from small Multi-Function Printers (MFPs) to professional production print devices. Prosource is one of the top five largest independent Konica Minolta Dealers in the United States. In addition, Prosource carries the full line of Lexmark, KIP, Muratec, and HP products, as well as OnBase, Objectif Lune, Equitrac, and Open Text software solutions.

In 2013, Prosource acquired Infitech, an IT solutions company based in West Chester, Ohio. Prosource now provides Office Equipment, Document Automation and Technology Solutions for customers in more than 35 counties in the Tri-State, including our newest expansion into the Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky markets.

In June 2014, Prosource opened two offices in two new markets - Lexington and Louisville, Kentucky. This strategic move launched Prosource's charge throughout the Midwest.

To offer enhanced internet security solutions to customers, Prosource acquired Alternative Computer Technology (ACT) in February 2015. The Liberty Township-based company markets and supports internet security products to small and medium sized businesses.

The TotalPro Experience is Prosource’s pledge of excellence to customers. The cornerstone of the TotalPro Experience is a proactive approach to customer service versus a reactive approach. The TotalPro Experience is backed by the TotalPro Guarantee, which guarantees 100% customer satisfaction. The guarantee is unique in the market and industry; if a customer is not totally satisfied, Prosource guarantees to resolve the situation immediately. In addition to loaner and replacement programs, The TotalPro Guarantee promises that Prosource will average a four-hour response time for service calls over the course of the year. If this promise is not met, then a refund of one months service money will be issued.

With offices in Cincinnati, Dayton, and West Chester, Ohio and Louisville and Lexington, Kentucky, Prosource serves more than 35 counties in the marketplace and currently employs over 200 associates.
