Truckline Logistics Pvt. Ltd. has released a new field report analyzing the impact of empty truck movement across the Delhi NCR region. Over seven days, the Truckline team visited multiple transport hubs and industrial loading points, conducting direct interviews with more than fifty truck drivers and transporters. Drivers consistently reported long delays in securing return trips, often losing several days before finding their next load. Many described rising diesel costs, inconsistent monthly earnings, and heavy dependence on intermediaries who may take significant commissions.

The study found that several trucks in Delhi NCR travel hundreds of kilometers without cargo during return journeys. This results in increased operational costs for truck owners, delayed dispatches for transporters, and significant inefficiencies within one of India’s busiest logistics zones.

To address these challenges, Truckline is launching a route-specific digital load-matching platform designed to reduce empty truck movement and improve overall asset utilization. Beginning with key routes inside and around Delhi NCR, the platform will offer real-time access to verified loads, reduce idle time, and provide drivers with more predictable earning opportunities. Truckline’s mission is to bring transparency, efficiency, and reliability to one of India’s most critical transport regions.
