Pilsen, Chicago-based contemporary fine artist Ty Nitz’s artwork features bold artworks focusing on an exploration of color and texture, with a variety of oversized abstract works ranging in styles often showcasing multidimensional mixed-media pieces.
Nitz has lived and worked in Chicago for nearly two decades and moved to Pilsen during the Pandemic in 2020 when he quit his corporate job to pursue art full-time. He became infatuated by the unique art scene and purchased an old factory he’s since been renovating and using as his studio headquarters.
Nitz’s art studio is located near the venue at the historic Del Ray Tortilla Factory in the Chicago Art District of Pilsen. Studio tours and more information are available upon request by emailing: firstname.lastname@example.org
