About |
UAE Expat Will is a guided online service that helps non-Muslim expatriates in the United Arab Emirates to prepare a civil will.
Many residents delay this task for years. The usual process needs a lawyer appointment, fees that are difficult to compare, and paperwork in a language that most residents do not read. UAE Expat Will removes that difficulty.
How it works. You answer questions in plain English about your family, your assets, your executors, and the guardians of your children. The platform then completes the official Abu Dhabi Judicial Department (ADJD) bilingual will template. The platform fills the Arabic side automatically and transliterates the names, so you never type Arabic text. You download the finished PDF, print it, and take it to the court. Most people finish in less than 30 minutes.
What you get. A completed will on the official ADJD template, in English and Arabic. A checklist of the documents to bring to the court and the steps of the appointment. A secure account that holds your will, so that you can return to it and make changes.
What we do not do. UAE Expat Will is a document preparation platform. It is not a law firm and it does not give legal advice. We do not submit any document for you. You keep your own appointment with the court, and you pay the court registration fee directly to the court. We never touch that payment.
Price. AED 1,499 for one will. AED 1,000 for a second will for a spouse or a partner. The court registration fee is separate. You pay nothing until your will is complete, and you can start without an account.
Who it is for. Non-Muslim expatriate residents of the UAE, in particular parents who want to name a guardian, couples who want mirror wills, and property owners.
