About

VerityGap Technologies LLC is a Sacramento, California-based technology company developing practical, human-centered tools that help individuals preserve important information, recognize patterns, communicate more effectively with support professionals, and navigate complicated legal and personal circumstances with greater clarity, safety, and dignity.

The company’s flagship platform, MyCaseVault, was created specifically for people documenting domestic violence, stalking, coercive control, harassment, protective-order violations, and high-conflict custody matters. Unlike general cloud-storage services, journaling applications, or co-parenting communication platforms, MyCaseVault brings evidence preservation, incident documentation, case organization, multilingual support, and professional collaboration together in one purpose-built workspace.

MyCaseVault was inspired by founder Katie Anderson’s lived experience with domestic violence, including the loss and destruction of critical evidence. That experience exposed a recurring problem: people are often expected to present clear, organized records in court even though traumatic events are difficult to document, evidence may be scattered across devices, and important files can be lost, altered, or deleted.

MyCaseVault helps close that gap.

Through the platform, users can document incidents and capture or upload photographs, audio recordings, videos, screenshots, scanned documents, police reports, and other supporting files. Incident records can include dates, locations, descriptions, categories, people involved, witnesses, related expenses, and other contextual information. Users can organize documented events into timelines that make repeated conduct and developing patterns easier to identify.

The platform’s evidence-integrity features are designed to preserve original files and create supporting records of when information was captured or uploaded. Finalized media can be accompanied by authentication information, audit records, file hashes, timestamps, verification tools, and certificates of authenticity. These features are intended to support transparency and help users demonstrate the history and integrity of their records without claiming or guaranteeing that any particular item will be admitted as evidence.

MyCaseVault also provides transcription, speaker-identification, and translation capabilities. Users can document and review information in multiple languages, making the platform useful for bilingual families, immigrant communities, and international custody matters. Source material may be translated for the user while organized reports can be produced in English for review by courts, attorneys, advocates, law enforcement, and other authorized professionals.

AI-assisted features help users improve the clarity of incident summaries, identify possible issues for further review, and compare documented conduct with provisions contained in uploaded court orders. These tools provide organizational assistance and educational information—not legal conclusions—and are not substitutes for advice from a qualified attorney.

Users can generate structured timelines, incident summaries, selected evidence packages, expense records, court-oriented reports, printable PDFs, and other organized exports. MyCaseVault is intended to reduce the time and expense involved in reconstructing events from scattered messages, photographs, recordings, notes, and documents.

The Legal and Advocacy Collaboration Portal gives users the ability to invite authorized attorneys, advocates, and support professionals into a secure collaborative space. Users can choose what information to share, exchange secure messages, provide selected documents for review, and maintain control over access to their records. This helps legal and advocacy professionals receive better-organized information while allowing the individual—not the professional or the platform—to remain at the center of the documentation process.

Individual subscriptions are available, and organizational licensing allows qualified agencies and partner organizations to sponsor access for the people they serve.

VerityGap Technologies is working with VerityGap Foundation Inc. seeking partnerships with domestic-violence organizations, women’s shelters, legal-services programs, advocacy groups, attorneys, community organizations, and grant funders to expand free and affordable access to MyCaseVault for eligible users.

MyCaseVault does not provide legal representation/advice, determine whether a law or court order has been violated, guarantee the admissibility of evidence, or promise a particular legal outcome.

VerityGap Technologies is working to close the gap between what happens and what people can meaningfully document, understand, and present.
