The Waterproof Football Sock was originally conceived by Game 6 director Michael Shuster following a particularly wet and miserable training session with the youth football team he manages.  He found SealSkinz - the world's only manufacturer of close fitting, waterproof socks - and the two companies collaborated over the next three years to develop, trial, test and launch the waterproof football sock.
