Pet Affordable Lab Services (PALS) is a new way for pet owners to take a proactive role in their pet’s health — with access to affordable, high-quality diagnostic testing and imaging without the need for an immediate veterinary appointment.
PALS offers wellness lab tests and diagnostic ultrasounds for dogs and cats, performed by experienced veterinary professionals in partnership with local veterinary hospitals. Our goal is to make preventive care more accessible, convenient, and cost-effective for pet owners who want to stay informed about their pet’s health.
How it works:
Schedule Your Appointment: Choose a time that works for you at one of our East Bay locations.
Visit for Sample Collection or Imaging: Your pet’s appointment usually takes 10–15 minutes for lab work and slightly longer for diagnostic ultrasounds.
Get Results Electronically: You’ll receive your results via secure email. You can share them with your regular veterinarian or telemedicine provider as needed.
Ultrasound studies are interpreted by veterinary internal medicine specialists, ensuring accurate, professional results you can trust.
PALS is modeled after services like Quest Diagnostics for people — providing direct access to essential health information while helping pet owners manage the rising cost of care and stay one step ahead in their pet’s wellness.
